Reliable transport of your equipment
Thule aims to provide exceptional products that are quality tested and warranted against defects in materials and workmanship.

Thule Warranty
The Thule Warranty covers any defect or damage to your Thule product. This includes damage caused by normal wear and tear or natural discoloration of the materials for a period of 2 (two) years from the date of purchase by the original purchaser. The Thule Warranty gives you specific legal benefits. It does not affect your statutory rights as the purchaser of the defective product.

Thule reserves the right to do the following:

  • Repair a product that meets the Thule warranty conditions
  • Replace the product if the damage or defect cannot be repaired
  • Offer a similar product of equivalent value or refund the amount paid if we are unable to replace the product with the same model

The warranty does not cover defects caused by circumstances beyond Thule’s control, including misuse, overloading, or assembly, installation or use of the product or its accessories in a manner that is not in accordance with Thule’s written instructions and safety information. It also does not cover damage to the user’s vehicle, electronic devices, cargo or any other person or property.

Thule Extended Warranty
The Thule Extended Warranty applies to products and accessories manufactured by Thule that are sold to the original purchaser under the Thule brand. The warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship and is valid for a certain number of years from the original date of purchase, depending on the product. The specific length of each product’s total warranty (Thule Guarantee plus Thule Extended Warranty) can be found below.

Subject to the limitations and exclusions described in this warranty, Thule will remedy defects in materials or workmanship during the warranty period by repairing or replacing (at Thule’s option) defective components without charge for parts or labor. To ensure the validity of the Thule Extended Warranty, register the product on the Thule website within two years of purchase.

Thule will not cover defects caused by circumstances beyond Thule’s control, including but not limited to misuse, overloading, or assembly, installation, or use of the product or its accessories in a manner that is not in accordance with Thule’s written instructions and safety text. Thule will also not cover damage to the user’s vehicle, electronic devices, cargo, or any other person or property.

During the Thule Extended Warranty period, we will not cover damage and/or defects caused by normal wear and tear (e.g., wear and tear of brakes, tires and tubes, electrical components, exterior surface issues, faulty zippers, damaged buckles, peeling coatings, and discoloration of fabrics).

Thule will not cover damage caused by misuse (e.g., tears, cuts, and holes in fabric) or cosmetic damage (e.g., scratched or stained fabrics).

In addition, damages caused by airlines or other damage caused by transportation (e.g. damage caused by pressure; tears, cuts and holes in the fabric; damage to wheel covers, handles and other bag hardware) are not covered. Claims for damages caused by transportation should be filed against the transportation company.
